Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic Software & Application Development Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in C, C++, Java, and database configurations, with a preference for experience in Postgres SQL. You will be responsible for developing and enhancing automation code using Spring Boot, building reusable components, and translating designs into high-quality code. Additionally, you will be involved in debugging, deploying applications, and providing support for the production environment. Problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a collaborative attitude are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop/enhance automation code using Spring Boot
- Build reusable components/methods/functions for future use
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Write effective and scalable code/test cases
- Debug and deploy applications
- Provide support for the production environment
- Prepare software development calendar
- Prepare reports and dashboards on project time deviations, rework time, etc.
- Conduct development testing and report testing issues to supervisor
- Identify and track bugs, assess the nature of bugs, and execute corrective actions
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of C, C++, Java, and database configurations
- Familiarity with any RDBMS database, with preference given to Postgres SQL
- Experience throughout the SDLC life cycle
- Understanding of data structures for analytical problem-solving
- Working knowledge of automation service provisioning
- Problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability
- Excellent collaborative attitude
