Position: Software Quality Analyst
Location: Pune, India

Are you a skilled Software Quality Analyst with a passion for civil engineering? Bentley is seeking a talented individual to join our Civil Engineering group as a Software Quality Analyst. If you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, along with a keen interest in bridge and/or road design, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in a relevant field

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and/or C++
  • Strong knowledge of automated test procedures and technologies
  • Experience in designing, developing, and executing reusable automated scripts
  • Expertise in automation testing, particularly with Test Complete tool and windows-based applications
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • CAD design software experience, particularly Micro Station, is advantageous
  • Good communication skills with fluency in English
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Aptitude for analyzing information and presenting solutions

Job Description: As a Software Quality Analyst at Bentley, you will be an integral part of our Product Advancement team. Your primary responsibility will be to validate and verify the functionality of our suite of Civil Design and Analysis Software. This role requires a deep understanding of bridge or road design engineering, including familiarity with design specifications. You will collaborate closely with other quality analysts, product management, and development teams across various product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and analyze product requirements
  • Establish and maintain automation environment in Azure
  • Develop and execute unit, regression, performance, and workflow tests
  • Create test designs for user scenarios, test cases, and checklists
  • Generate validation and failure analysis reports for automated tests
  • Detect, analyze, log, and track software bugs/defects
  • Collaborate with team members and product managers to achieve testing and development objectives
  • Document procedures and recommendations for all testing phases
